Independent FIFe evaluations, titles, and years of focused work on modern European Burmese type
Royal Esprit is a FIFe registered cattery, and international shows are an important part of how we evaluate our cats and our breeding work. On this page you can see the titles and results achieved by our Burmese cats, together with the role that FIFe shows play in our long term breeding programme.
WHY SHOWS MATTER
Show results are not only about titles
For us, international FIFe shows are not simply a place to present our cats. They are also an important form of independent evaluation. Every year we take part in several international FIFe shows, and we also attend the World Show. This gives us the opportunity not only to exhibit our own Burmese cats, but also to see the strongest work of other breeders, compare type and quality at an international level, exchange experience, and listen carefully to the opinions of some of the world’s most respected feline judges.
Years of selective breeding, careful line building, and focused work on type, expression, temperament, and overall quality are reflected in these results. Show participation helps us confirm where our work is strong and where it can still be improved.
TITLES AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Results achieved by our Burmese cats in FIFe
Among our Burmese cats are multiple title holders, including Kitten Champion (KCH), Junior Champion (JCH), Champion (CH), International Champion (IC), Grand International Champion (GIC), National Winner (NW), Mediterranean Winner (MW), Scandinavian Winner (SW), World Winner (WW), and the prestigious Junior Winner (JW) title.
The Junior Winner title is especially valued because a kitten or junior must receive Best in Show at least 5 times at international exhibitions in order to earn it. For us, such results are not only a matter of prestige. They are a meaningful confirmation that our cats are competitive at a high international level and are appreciated by independent judges under real show conditions.
BREEDING VALUE
How show results support our breeding programme
In a breeding cattery, show results matter most when they support real quality. Titles are valuable because they help confirm that a cat combines correct type, expression, coat quality, balance, and temperament in a way that stands up to repeated independent evaluation.
For this reason, we do not see shows as decoration. We see them as part of a larger process of responsible breeding. They help us measure our work against the highest standards of the European Burmese breed and continue moving in the right direction.

OUR APPROACH
Titles matter, but quality matters more
At Royal Esprit, exhibitions are part of how we test our work in the real world. They are important to us, but they are never the only goal. What matters most is to combine health, temperament, beauty, and breed type in cats that are not only successful in the show hall, but also excellent Burmese in everyday life and in future generations.
